Pranab Kapadia’s Moviegoers Ent. partners up with ScreenHits TV for India

Former Eros International President (Distribution), Pranab Kapadia’s newly founded film and television UK distribution company, Moviegoers Entertainment Limited has announced a strategic tie-up with ScreenHits TV, an intuitive super aggregator for at home content streaming.

It will lead Alliances, Partnerships, Integrations and On-Boarding for all Indian Language Content Streaming Partners and OTT players. ScreenHits TV is founded by entertainment industry veteran and tech entrepreneur, Rose Adkins Hulse.

ScreenHits TV is committed to provide consumers with a single sign in and easy-to-use
interface that combines their pre-existing streaming subscription services, videos and live
channels, thereby minimizing streaming fatigue by helping viewers discover and seamlessly
watch content across the leading streaming providers, including Disney+, Amazon Prime and Netflix – all without searching and switching between numerous app interfaces. ScreenHits TV will also provide specially curated bundles that allow users to subscribe to and pay for only the channels they’ll actually watch.

Commenting on the association, Pranab Kapadia, Director, Moviegoers Entertainment Limited said, “We are excited to drive this association and build a compelling Asian Bundle consisting of leading content players from the Indian sub-continent. As the demand for online video content continues to grow rapidly, this partnership could not have come at a better time”.

“There are more than 32 million NRIs (non-resident Indians) living outside of India. This is a massive market that is currently not being addressed by any of the leading aggregators, said Rose Adkins Hulse, Founder & CEO of ScreenHits TV. ”We are excited to bring a premium streaming package from the leading Indian SVOD and AVOD platforms to our service. Moviegoers is the best company positioned to oversee this initiative for ScreenHits TV and we look forward to providing premium content from India to our users,” stated Hulse.

Kapadia whose media experience spans over two decades includes working as Head of Operations and Programming for ZEE Network UK/Europe between 1996 to 2006. He then had a short stint at Adlabs Films (UK) Ltd as President – Europe between 2006 and 2007. He later joined production and film distribution giant, Eros International as President (Distribution) in 2007. He left in January 2020 to focus on various new projects including setting up Moviegoers Entertainment Limited.
