Pran back in hospital; health deteriorates

Bollywood legend Pran has returned to hospital, barely a month after he was discharged.

While his family remain optimitic and maintains he is on the mend, friends outside the family are taking a different take on the star’s health. The 92-year old actor is recuperating in hospital.

A colleague said, “He is getting on. Pran saab is a fighter. But one can’t really fight old age beyond a point.”

The actor`s daughter Pinky, who is shuttling between two ailing family members – her father and mother-in-law in two different hospitals, says, “He`s (Pran) better. However he cannot have any visitors at the moment.”
