Director Prakash Jha who has directed ‘Gangaajal’ (2003) and ‘Raajneeti’ (2010), was seen arm-wrestling an anti terrorism officer at the police headquarters in Pune.
Jha and actor Manav Kaul were on a tour at the police headquarters where the two gave autographs and took selfies with the policewomen. Once they finished interacting with the press, Jha decided to arm wrestle police officer Bhanupratap Barge.
In conversation with TheTimes of India, Barge said, “It’s good that such films are being made. I have seen Prakash ji’s work and believe that he is a filmmaker with a social responsibility.”Jha replied, “The Pune ATS is doing a splendid job of bringing communities that are often targeted during terror attacks into the mainstream. They are preventing people from getting into the world of crime and that’s most important.”
Kaul added his appreciation for the Pune police. “In my next film, I would love to play a cop. Bahut pitai karwa lee ab police banke kisiko pitoonga.”
Well it seems Jha and Kaul had a great time interacting with the police.
Jha is readying himself for his next release ‘Jai Gangaajal’.
