Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Dabba Gul’ to roll next year

Being one to take things slow in the film industry, news has it that filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar is nearly all set to start rolling ‘Dabba Gul’ as early as next year.

Having already approached Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan to play pivotal roles, Box Office India reports a source revealing, “The director is currently giving the final touches to the script, after which a narration will be held for Aditya Chopra. The film will start rolling by the end of next year, as Amitabh Bachchan starts shooting for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ with Aamir Khan by the middle of next year. Only once he finishes that film will this one go on the floors.”

Talking about Dhawan the source went on to explain, “On the other hand, Varun has not yet given dates. Once both actors’ dates are clear, only then will shooting start.”

Little not is known about the project, however it has been revealed that Sarkar wants to have a fresh face playing the female lead.
