Prachi Desai moved from television to the big screen and has been seen in a few films since. Sheâs recently given her comments about Bollywood being all about family.
âBollywood is a large family business. Itâs primarily a family industry and thatâs what it thrives on. Even today, thereâs a constant barrage of star kids whose pictures are flashed all over the internet even before they decide when and how are they going to debut,â said Desai, according to Hindustan Times.
The actress also spoke further about the opportunities presented to star-kids, âThere are a lot of talented actors out there who may probably never get those opportunities like these star kids do get. So yes, I think itâs very evident for everybody to see that it is always about family connection in Bollywoodâ.
On facing this problem herself, Desai adds, âThe few films that I have been in contention for, I know certain girlsâ fathers have called up those particular directors or producers that they are eyeing that film. So itâs nothing new and happens all the timeâ.
Desai was last seen in âRock On 2â which released in November.
