Prachi Desai: “Female actors can do what they like”

As Madhuri Dixit-Nene starrer ‘Gulaab Gang’ (2014) and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’ (2014) are being highly praised by the viewers, Prachi Desai feels that it is a great time for the actresses in Bollywood as today they are free to choose what they wish to do.

According to Mid-Day, she says “For all the female actors, it’s a very good phase because today you don’t have to worry about a project that you really like. Maybe at any other point and time, the girls would have thought twice before taking up a project, but today I guess you can do just what you like.”

Was this Desai’s hint that she wants to act in projects which are a little women-centric? We’ll have to wait and watch.
