Prabhudheva to play antagonist in Tamil remake

Prabhudheva is a star who’s known for his dancing prowess more than being a filmmaker. However, he’s about to step into a baddie role for his next film which is a Hindi remake of  upcoming Tamil film ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’.

Interestingly, Prabhudheva will be seen sharing the screen with Tamannaah Bhatia and Bhumika Chawla in the film. He confirmed to Pune Mirror, “When I heard the script I was taken aback, it was such a different role from what you expect from me. For the first time I play the antagonist”.

Vasu Bhagnani is producing the film. He adds, “Today, after 21 years, we are again remaking a Tamil film. After a handful of comedy films, we want to explore different genres and this thriller excited all of us. Given Tamannaah’s chemistry with Prabhudheva and a brilliant script, we are on a good wicket. Shooting has already begun in London”.
