With huge successes like ‘Wanted’ (2009) and ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (2012) to his name,Prabhu Deva is setting outto focus on his next ventures. However there is one project that is causing him a lot of trouble in finding a suitable heroine.
Bollywood Hungama reportsthat one of Prabhu’s upcoming projects will star newcomer Girish Taurani. Being the son of producer Kumar Taurani,Prabhu was advised to have an experienced actress to play opposite Taurani so he wouldn’t have to worry about mentoringa debutante. However, every actress that has been approached has either turned the role down or doesn’t seem to fit the character and this could be because Taurani looks a lot younger than 22 years.
The choreographer-turned-director spoke to reporters and expressed his concern, “What to do? Girish is 22. But he looks 19. None of the established heroines look compatible with him. So we had to drop the original plan of a big heroine with the newcomer to create a balanced box office equation.”
Prabhuhas never directed lead newcomers before andwith somany other projects in the pipeline, this will be a real test for his directorial skills.
