Prabhu Deva set to act as lead in Bollywood

Having established himself as a great director in the Indian film industry, news has it the choreographer-turned-film maker Prabhu Deva will soon be seen playing a lead in a Bollywood film.

According to Deccan Chronicle, the film in question will be helmed by first time director Meher Ramesh. Reports also went into say that the project may also star Sonakshi Sinha. Confirming the news was a source close to the team who revealed, “Right now Prabhu and Meher are looking for financers to fund the project. Also, the makers are in talks with Sonakshi to act opposite Prabhu in the film.”

Sinha and Deva share a very close rapport. With Deva having signed the actress in most of his directorial, there’s no doubt on saying they will work well together. ��As far as Deva’s acting goes, it’s fair to say Deva still has what it takes to create magic in front of the camera again.
