Hollywood continues to broaden its horizons by venturing into the Indian market in search of stars for their high-profile projects. And next up on the list appears to be none other than South Indian superstar, Prabhas.
Prabhas has been in the industry for a long time and has a massive South Indian fan base. But when SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ (2015) and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ (2017) debuted on the big screen, he became a full India celebrity, reports Box Office Worldwide. Following that, rumours did begin to circulated that he landed a role in Tom Cruise’s next movie in the ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise. However, this turned out to be false.
But now, according to recent reports, he may have received a new offer for a horror film. Apparently a major Hollywood production studio has made Prabhas an offer and has already received the film’s screenplay.
However, despite Hollywood potentially knocking at the door, it is no secret that Prabhas is terrified of the horror genre, and has avoided them in India. So it remains to be seen whether the star takes advantage of this Hollywood opportunity.
