Post ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Anurag Basu confirms Ranbir Kapoor in next

The Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor partnership seems to be going from strength to strength after the success of ‘Barfi!’ in 2012. Not only have they collaborated for production company Picture Shuru Productions with ‘Jagga Jasoos’ being their first under the banner, Basu has confirmed that Kapoor will be in his forthcoming film too.

Basu is quoted by Deccan Chronicle, “Yes, I�۪ve signed Ranbir yet again…��We�۪re yet to finalise the leading lady of the film besides other details”. It is thought that Kapoor’s dates post February 2015 will be dedicated to the project.

“Both Ranbir and Anurag have been in talks about this film for a very long time. Since they are co-producing the film, they have ensured that they lock a start-to-finish schedule,” a source close to the actor revealed.

Kapoor will be wrapping up ‘Roy’ before he commences the shoot for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ once more. The latter stars Katrina Kaif in the female lead and no doubt the audiences are yearning to see them together.
