Poonam Dhillon back on the big screen with ‘Blame it on Sanjog’

After five years, Poonam Dhillon is all set to return to Bollywood with Luv Ranjan’s next production, ‘Blame it on Sanjog’, directed by newbie Navjot Gulati. Dhillon is playing a Punjabi mother, and will be seen ‘fighting’ with co-actor Supriya Pathak in the film, when both their kids fall in love with each other.

Dhillon told Mirror, “We’ve started shooting in Mumbai and will be moving to Delhi later this month. I play a loud Punjabi woman, and Supriya Pathak and I are best friends-turned-foes due to an incident. Then, our kids — Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall — fall in love and our lives take a different turn. There’s a lot of humour, celebration and shaadis, besides the rivalry between Supriya and my character. I’ve shot just a couple of days with Supriya and I’m really enjoying myself. It’s also nice to work with the young team of Navjot, Sunny and Sonnalli.”

Dillon was last seen in ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ (2013).
