Debutante Pooja Hegde, seen in Ashutosh Gowariker directorial’Mohenjo Daro’ (2016), has been practising Aerial silk to keep fit and improve her flexibility.

Aerial silk is an acrobatic dance form which assists in strengthening the upper body and core muscles and increasing flexibility. The activity involves artists hanging from a special fabric and performing acrobatics.

Apparently Hegde learnt the art from Aditi Deshpande at Fly High Aerial art. According to Filmfare, the starlet commented saying,” I saw P!nk (international singer) perform this form at the grammy’s and have been obsessed ever since. I have a fear of heights and was not a flexible person at all. While the fear of heights still remains, my overall fitness levels have increased tremendously.”
