Pooja Hegde confirmed for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 4’

The entire cast of ‘Housefull 4′ has been announced as the film features Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Riteish Deshmukh – while Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde play the female leads. It will be directed by Sajid Khan and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment will produce it, along with Fox Star Studios.

This is Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios’ third project together after Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ (2017) and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018), reports Zoom.

‘Housefull 4’ is Hedge’s second film in Bollywood after her debut ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016) in which she was cast opposite Hrithik Roshan. The film is based on reincarnation and was announced in October on social media by Nadiadwala Grandson.

‘Housefull’ released in 2010 and starred Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh, in principal roles. It was directed by Khan. ‘Housefull 2’ released two years later, where Kumar and Deshmukh reprised their roles while John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Asin, joined the cast.

‘Housefull 3’ (2015), however, made headlines as several reports stated that Khan was upset about the fact that the film was directed by Sajid Farhad instead of him. Apart from Kumar and Deshmukh, the third film co-starred Abhishek Bachchan, Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri.

‘Housefull 4’ releases 26th October later this year.
