Pooja Gor roped in for new cop-series on Sony TV

Former ‘Pratigya’ and ‘Ek Nayi Ummeed – Roshni’ star, Pooja Gor has been confirmed for a new show on Sony Entertainment Television.

The untitled show, which will have a terrorism backdrop, will see Gor play a cop. It also stars Imran Javed, Yudhishter Singh and Rashmi Mahajan.

Talking to IWM Buzz, Gor said, “Those who follow my career will know that I have always attempted to push the envelope. No wonder I played a doctor in the above Life OK show.”

She added, “We are shooting for the new Sony show right now. It is a different experience playing a cop. We had to get their body language and mannerisms right. The creative made us meet special operation guys to understand how they work. We had to learn how to fire guns, and the hierarchy and power structure of the ATS. My respect for law enforcement agencies has gone up manifold, having understood how difficult their job is.”

Gor was last seen in Bollywood film ‘Kedarnath’ along with Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan.
