The controversy surrounding Salman Khan being named goodwill ambassador of the Rio Olympics is creating quite a storm.

Pooja Bhatt is the latest name to give her opinion on Khan being appointed. However, without naming anyone, she took a dig at Salim Khan’s comments, in which he defended his son’s new role and spoke about Milkha Singh.

Some background first.. Mumbai Mirror contacted Singh about Khan’s role as ambassador, to which he said, ���India has produced so many sportsperson who have given their sweat and blood for the country like PT Usha, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Ajit Pal and so many others. One of these could have been made a good will ambassador. What was the need to import a person from Bollywood?�۝

Defending his son, Salim Khan replied to Singh, ���Milkhaji it is not Bollywood it is the Indian Film Industry and that too the largest in the world.�۝ He even went on to call Salman ���an A level swimmer cyclist and weight lifter�۝. Shockingly, he added, ���The same industry which resurrected you from fading away in oblivion.�۝
