Poll: Sky “better value” for Asian TV channels

Sky has come up on top in terms of value it offers for Asian TV channels in the UK, according to a weekly poll conducted by BizAsiaLive.com.

The platform, which has over 60 Asian TV channels, with most being free-to-air or a part of the basic Sky subscription, was voted by 138 people. Its rival, Virgin Media was a distant second with just 23 votes. The poll ran over one week on BizAsiaLive.com.

The war amongst the two rivals is set to intensify later in the year when Sky reportedly moves its Asian TV channels from the Sky Asia Pack to the basic Original pack. This will ultimately mean all the Asian TV channels competing in the same package.
