Plug pulled on Avtar Lit’s Jeo Radio analogue frequency
London’s new Asian radio station, Jeo Radio has abruptly gone off-air on its analogue frequency. While reasons are not currently known, this is likely to be due to non-payment or a technical glitch.
The station run by Avtar Lit, broadcasts on 1584AM (North London) and DAB in London.
Jeo Radio replaced Asian FX Radio on the frequency when it was acquired by Lit and former Lyca Radio presenter, Sarita Sabharwal. Tony Patti who was also a part of Jeo Radio moved on after a short stint to run a number of online stations. Furthermore, he is consulting for radio brands nationally and internationally.

Avtar Lit awarded ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’
This is Lit’s return to UK radio broadcasting after Sunrise Radio, he had founded, went into administration in 2014. The then Sunrise Radio and Kismat Radio frequencies were acquired by the Lyca Group (now named Lyca Radio 1458AM and Lyca Gold 1035AM). Lit’s son, Tony Lit then took charge of Sunrise Radio, while Avtar moved to India.
