Plea for SRK to refund ‘JHMS’ losses to distributors & exhibitors

With Salman Khan having recently paid back losses suffered by the distributors and exhibitors who worked on ‘Tubelight’ (2017) which bombed at the box office, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that Shah Rukh Khan is being urged to do the same for his last offering ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

Shah Rukh has previously done this when his 2015 film ‘Dilwale’ fared less than desired at the box office. As such, exhibitors and distributors – including NH Studioz – are asking that he does the same, according to Bollywood Hungama, for the poor performance of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ which released at the beginning of this month.

Even before ‘Dilwale’, Shah Rukh has returned losses in the same way. It remains to be seen whether he does so on this occasion, having made moolah from the film’s satellite and music rights before the film released.
