Plans for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ trailer release this week stalled?

Anurag Basu’s much awaited film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been delayed a number of times and it now seems the trailer, which was planned for this week, may get stalled too.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the trailer of the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif romantic comedy was expected to be attached to the prints of ‘Dangal’. However, the film’s trailer has been certified UA in India, while ‘Dangal’ has been certified ‘U’, which could lead to problems.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Dangal has been granted a ‘U’ certificate and is therefore open to viewers of all ages, whereas the trailer of Jagga Jasoos has been given a ‘UA’ certificate, which is to say it can only be viewed by children accompanied by adults. As per the law a ‘UA’ trailer cannot be attached to a ‘U’ film.”

Either the makers of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will have to release another version of the trailer or decide against unveiling the trailer with ‘Dangal’.
