After the huge success of the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starer ‘Bodyguard’ (2011), producer Atul Agnihotri is all set to venture out in the sequel.
Rumoured to have been shelved in the past, NDTV��reported��the producer clarifying, “Work is under progress for the ‘Bodyguard’��sequel. We are working only on the script at the moment. We are doing a fresh take on ‘Bodyguard’…We haven’t zeroed down on the cast yet. Not possible to make a sequel without Salman.”
Earning more than Rs 230 crore, ‘Bodyguard’ became the biggest blockbuster of 2011, where the soundtrack and the story were both received very well. Other details about the sequel have yet to be announced, though Agnihotri did report that the director of the prequel, Siddique will not be included in the follow-up film.
