Peterborough awarded Muslim community station

Ofcom has awarded Peterborough a community Muslim radio station by the name of Salaam Radio.

Salaam Radio will provide a community radio service that will be predominantly for the Muslim population of Peterborough.

Salaam Radio has been awarded a five-year community radio licence.
