‘Peshwa Bajirao’ to launch on Sony TV in January

Sony Entertainment Television has confirmed the launch date for its much awaited epic series ‘Peshwa Bajirao’, based on the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

The huge period drama stars Anuja Sathe, Manish Wadwa and Rudra Soni. According to Bollywood Life, “The story will begin with the child Bajirao and his conflict with his father. Radha bai plays the mediator between the son and father who are at loggerheads constantly. Unlike the film, the serial will not focus on Bajirao and Mastani’s love story but the story of a warrior. Later on, the love story aspect will be touched upon as Bajirao grows up.”

‘Peshwa Bajirao’ launches on Monday 23rd January 2017 at 19:30.
