Personalised Playlists expected to launch on Sky this year

Sky customers in the UK are set to receive a major update this year which will give families the option to setup their own profiles on the Sky TV platform.

The feature called Personalised Playlists will be similar to that of Netflix and Prime, allowing viewers to see content that suits their viewing tastes. It will also mean parents can setup children profiles personalised for their children so they don’t see anything that might be inappropriate for their age.

Personalised Playlists had been rumoured to launch in 2022 but will now be released this year.

Other major upgrades are expected this year as Sky continue to roll out updates on it’s Glass TV and streaming box. Currently it’s unclear if Sky Q subscribers will be receiving the Personalised Playlists feature.
