Television star, Pearl V Puri has been granted interim relief by the sessions court.
The actor, who has been accused of rape and molestation of a minor, has been released until 2nd July. The co-accused is the mother of the child whose family has filed a POCSO case against Pearl V Puri.
Lawyer Swapna Kode was cited in Times of India saying, “My client has been granted interim relief by the Hon’ble Sessions Court till 2/7. My client has been made an accused in the Pocso case and hence she has approached the court.”
She further stated, “My client was forced to move the court as she was informed that she has been made an accused and the reason given was she did not inform anyone in spite of knowing about the incident so she had no option but to move for anticipatory bail and the matter has been posted for July 2.”
