Paul Shah to leave Sunrise Radio’s ‘Breakfast’ show

Sunrise Radio is on the search for a replacement for Paul Shah, who is stepping down from the role.

In an online advert, the station said it was “looking for a breakfast show host to take over the reigns from Paul Shah shortly.”

It further stated, “The ideal candidate should be up to date on their Bollywood music, be fun and lively and be a natural morning person.”

Previously, Shah quit the station’s ‘Drivetime’ show in 2021 to focus on other projects. He returned on-air to replace Raj Ghai after he quit the ‘Breakfast’ show earlier this year.

Interested applicants to take up the flagship show on the station, should contact Sunrise Radio.

Sunrise Radio won the ‘Radio Station of the Year’ award at the Asian Media Awards last week. However, its seen a decline in listenership over the past year due to competition in the London market.
