Patralekhaa walks out of ‘Panga’ due to Kangna Ranaut?

With Kangna Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’ in trouble over a couple of stars walking out of the project, it seems trouble has now followed Kangna Ranaut to her next ‘Panga’ helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Mid-Day reports that Patralekhaa left ‘Panga’ as she would get overshadowed by Ranaut in the film as the supporting actress. Apparently, on the advice of Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa was told not to do the film as it “not worth her while”.

The rumours were refuted by Tiwari, who told the publication, “Panga is a story that’s very close to my heart and I could see only Kangna bringing life to the character. I request everyone not to be judgmental and together allow me to breathe the air of oneness like the support and love you have given me for my previous films (sic).”

She added, “Movies are the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. With Panga, let’s tell only stories of love.”
