With the release of Yash Raj Films’ next ‘Pathaan’ set to hit cinemas later this month, BizAsiaLive.com understands that plans for its digital premiere are also underway.
While the film has been cleared for a theatrical release by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the makers will have to resubmit the film for re-certification by 10th March ahead of its Prime Video premiere on 25th April 2023.
According to Bar & Bench, the Delhi Court asked ‘Pathaan’ makers to provide Hindi subtitles, along with closed captions, and audio descriptions for the OTT release as it needs to benefit visual and hearing impairments.
