Parth Samthaan opens up about his Bollywood debut

As reported by BizAsia earlier this month, television star Parth Samthaan would be seen making his Bollywood debut opposite Shahid Kapoor’s sister, Sanah. ��Samthaan has now gone on record to talk about his debut big screen venture.

Speaking to DNA India, the young actor said, “It is true. I don’t want to talk about it much because we are trying to keep it a little low key for now. The film is about to start and we are figuring out a few details. It is a romantic comedy backed by lot of strong characters.”

Samthaan shot to fame with MTV India’s popular youth show, ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’. ��The actor has clarified that his debut film,��however, does not belong to the youth genre and is instead a family drama.

Starring Parth Samthaan and Sanah Kapur alongside Pankaj Kapur and Paresh Rawal, the yet untitled film will be directed by Karan Kashyap. ��Shooting begins in February 2016.
