Parth Samthaan on being roped in for ‘CID’ as ACP Ayushmann
Parth Samthaan has officially been announced as taking on the role of ACP Ayushmann in the ongoing series ‘CID’ on Sony TV.
His character steps in as a replacement for ACP Pradyuman, previously portrayed by Shivaji Satam.
Speaking to ‘Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan’, Parth expressed, “It is truly a tremendous responsibility to step into the shoes—such colossal shoes—of ACP Pradyuman.” He revealed that when he was approached for the role, he was initially uncertain about accepting the offer.

But when I shared that I was serious, they felt very proud. It is indeed a monumental responsibility to step into the shoes of ACP Pradyuman, as I am now replacing him as ACP Ayushmann. It’s a fresh character with a new story. We will carry the narrative forward with new thrills and suspense. I never imagined I’d be part of such a collaboration.
