Parth Samthaan faces FIR for sexual molestation

It seems like controversy has a way of following television star, Parth Samthaan after an FIR was filed against him for sexual molestation.

The ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ actor has been accused by 20-year old model, Sushmita Chakravati of sexual advances. The incident is said to have happened around the 20th February, which then was followed by the legal case.

Talking to India-Forums, Samthaan said, “Yes, it all happened, but things are sorted now and she has taken back the F.I.R. She was my friend and we had some issue regarding money. She went and filed an F.I.R against me of molesting her, but then she realized her mistake. It is my birthday today and this unfolded before I went to celebrate.”

However, Chakravati had a different spin on the story. She told the publication, “I have filed a case against Parth. We were friends from the past 4 years and we used to go out party. This time he tried to get close to me, but I did not let that happen. But when I got to know about a particular Whatsapp group and I was being discussed there, I got upset and filed a case against him. It’s not a publicity stunt and I belong to a very good family. I am going to fight and will not take the case back.”

Incidentally, last year Samthaan was accused by Vikas Gupta of molestation.
