Parineeti hopes to share screen with Ayushmann more

Having received huge applause for her song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ from her forthcoming film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ (2017), it seems Parineeti Chopra has had a lot of fun working with her co-star who’s also a singer; Ayushmann Khurrana.

Talking to the media about their rapport, DNA reports Chopra expressing, “Our chemistry is beautiful because of the real-life bond that we share. He is one of my closest friends right now. I would love to do more and more films with him.”

On a more serious note, the actress spoke about the gender pay gap that is still prevalent in the Indian film industry. Where it had been said that male leads bring in more business, the actress said, “When the woman is the protagonist of the film, then there is a certain amount of business that even she brings but the pay scale is not proportionate in that case too.”
