Parineeti-Diljit to star in remake of ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’?

Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh are reportedly set to star in the remake of 1986 flick ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’.

Rumours are rife that Phantom Films are keen to sign the two for the fluffy romantic drama, originally released in 1986.

SpotBoye reports that Chopra could step into the role initially played by Amrita Singh, while Dosanjh is set to bag the male lead played by Anil Kapoor.

The report adds that ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’ remake rights were acquired by Phantom Films in a competitive race with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
