Parineeti Chopra to work on ‘Kesari’ & ‘Namastey England’ simultaneously

It’s going to be a busy year for Parineeti Chopra, who has just wrapped up her first film of the year – ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ with Arjun Kapoor, and is soon to start another two films simultaneously.

Reported on Hindustan Times, Chopra will start focusing on ‘Kesari’ based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, starring opposite Akshay Kumar; and the other is ‘Namastey England’ with Kapoor, which will be a light-hearted comedy. Both films are based on completely different genres, so how will Chopra manage transitioning between characters? “It’s going to be extremely challenging for Parineeti to shoot for both the films at the same time. While Kesari is an intense, period film, Namastey England is fun, a comedy film. So, she won’t just juggle dates, but will also juggle with genres,” says a close source.

The source further added,  “It’ll be quite demanding for Parineeti to switch roles. It’s not easy to get in and out of the skin of characters. It’d be interesting to see her pull it off.”

So far, the shooting schedule for the ‘Golmaal Again’ (2017) star is looking a little like this, ‘Kesari’ will commence in mid-February and after one week Chopra will make a start on ‘Namastey England’.
