Parineeti Chopra turns down Karan Johar?

A couple of months ago, reports suggested that Parineeti Chopra could be starring in Karan Johar’s portion of the upcoming ‘Bombay Talkies 2’. However, news now has it that the actress decided to decline the offer and Kiara Advani stepped into the role in her place.

A source at Dharma Productions told Deccan Chronicle, “It’s true that Karan offered Parineeti a film. But it was the lead in a short film that Karan is directing for producer Ashi Dua for Bombay Talkies 2″.

Interestingly, a source close to the actress also revealed, “Parineeti doesn’t even want to talk about this. She is dead set on working with Karan — but in a full-length feature film”.

Chopra is riding high on the success of ‘Golmaal Again’ earlier this year. She’s currently shooting for ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor.
