Parineeti Chopra speaks up about Mahesh Babu’s next

As previously reported by BizAsia, Parineeti Chopra has allegedly been replaced in Mahesh Babu’s next South Indian film, to be directed by AR Murugadoss. Rakul Preet Singh has apparently stepped into the role earlier offered to Chopra.

Chopra told DNA India, “I�۪m not sure who said that I was doing the film, but the fact is, there was never an announcement from our side. We never comment on any film till we sign on the dotted line. Maybe the news came from their team. Yes, I was approached for it and discussions were going on��_ Maybe that�۪s why it led to the speculation, but one can only make an announcement once you sign it on paper. I never spoke about it. Unfortunately, as much as I would have loved to do it, I can�۪t because the dates didn�۪t work out.”

The actress went on to add that she is currently committed to Homi Adajania�۪s ‘Takadum’ and an unannounced��film. While this South Indian film did not work out, Chopra looks forward to making her debut there sometime in the future.
