Parineeti Chopra reveals plans for music single

Parineeti Chopra who has been busy promoting ‘Golmaal Again’ with director Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Tabu and the rest of the team, has revealed her plan of action for the coming months and years.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Chopra says that having been tied up with the filming of ‘Golmaal Again’ meant she wasn’t able to record a music single she had in mind. “I got so tied up with Golmaal that the single has been postponed a bit. But I am working on it with a music company and will reveal details soon,” said Chopra.

Next on her wishlist is to produce a film, though Chopra does state that it won’t be for some time yet. “Right now, I am concentrating on acting. I don’t think I have enough experience yet to take on the responsibility of producing a film, but in a couple of years, I will, for sure.”

In terms of other forthcoming films, the ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ (2017) actress will be teaming up with Arjun Kapoor again for both. First one is for Dibakar Banerjee’s thriller, which is due to start in November. “It is going to be an intense two-weeks prep as Dibakar is a workshop-oriented director and wants us in character before we start work. It’s going to be gruelling but satisfying as an actor.”

The other is Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey Canada’, which is slated to go on floors in February 2018. Chopra was asked about comparisons with Katrina Kaif, to which she replied, “Namstey Canada is not a sequel so there is no question of comparisons.”

Of course the question arose about her connection with Kapoor since they have worked together previously. “We are friends and protective of each other. I was in Arjun’s first film, Ishaqzaade, and now I am curious to know what it’s like to work with him after so many years,” explains the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014) star.

‘Golmaal Again’ will be in cinemas on Friday 2oth October.
