Parineeti Chopra or Prachi Desai for G Rupa Devi biopic?

It seems to be raining biopics in Bollywood. Among the many upcoming biopics is one on the life of G Rupa Devi, for which both Parineeti Chopra and Prachi Desai are allegedly being considered.

Speaking to Mid Day about the film, a source said, “It will be shot in various parts of the world and will go on floors by June. Talks are on with Prachi and Parineeti to star in the film which will be helmed by a newcomer. An official announcement will be made soon.”

G Rupa Devi is the single Indian woman to have been a football referee internationally.

Currently, Parineeti Chopra is working on Yash Raj Films’ ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’, while Prachi Desai is looking forward to the release of ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘Azhar’. ��It remains to be seen which of the two actresses bag the biopic in question.
