Parineeti Chopra may be enjoying her time as judge in ‘Hunarbaaz’, the talent reality show but it seems her dates have been clashing for upcoming projects she’s scheduled to star in. As such, the latest buzz suggests that she has has to opt out of ‘Animal’ which would have seen her opposite Ranbir Kapoor for the first time.

It’s thought that her dates for the film’s shoot were clashing with Imtiaz Ali’s next ‘Chamkila’ in which she is due to star. The film is based on Indian musician Amar Singh Chamkila, if reports are to be believed and could see Diljit Dosanjh in the main role, although this is unconfirmed.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Parineeti is going to work with Imtiaz Ali for the first time in her career as the heroine in the ace director’s next, Chamkila. It is a huge moment for her because she has always wanted to creatively collaborate with the visionary director”.

“She has to get into prep immediately for the shoot, and unfortunately due to this development, she won’t be able to shoot for Animal as there is a major overlap of dates between the two films. So, RK and Parineeti fans will have to wait a little bit longer for a new project to bring them together on screen”, ended the insider.
