Parineeti on choosing to do ‘Golmaal Again’

News of Parineeti Chopra replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan in the next installment of ‘Golmaal’ is old news. However, Chopra hasn’t spoke much about doing the film until now.

‘Golmaal Again’, which will be the fourth part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ franchise, went on the floors last week. Talking about her role in the comedy, Chopra told BollywoodLife, “It really came to me at the perfect time. I was looking to do a big, fun, comedy film and GA was the perfect combination of all these three things. The biggest deciding factor was obviously Rohit Shetty. He is someone I’ve always wanted to work with. I love all his films, and the kind of reach he has. Working in such an environment is also educating me on who our audience really is, what kind of films they like watching. I am honoured and excited to be a part of it. I love working with the team. They are also a mad, fun-loving team — always playing pranks and making fun of the crew but there’s so much of love and friendship between them. It’s such a fun set to be a part of and there’s never any stress.”

She added, “My character is as fun, crazy and cool as these boys are, so I was very excited when this role was offered to me.”

The film releases later this year.
