Papon to miss shoot of ‘The Voice India’ next episode?

With the controversy of musician and singer, Papon kissing a minor, showing no signs of waning, it now seems that he will miss the shoot of ‘The Voice India -Kids’ next episode, which takes place early in a couple of days.

A source told Mid-Day, “Only two episodes of the season are left to be shot. Papon will be skipping the shoot slated for Tuesday and Wednesday. They are supposed to film the season finale over the two days. Even if he hasn’t been fired, in light of the incident, he’d want to excuse himself from the show.”

Papon has been embroiled in controversy after he was caught kissing a young girl backstage in a Facebook Live video.

Supreme Court lawyer Runa Bhuyan filed the complaint with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights against Papon under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
