Pankhuri Awasthy to join cast of ‘YRKKH’ after leap?

With Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ gathering a lot of buzz ahead of its upcoming generation leap, rumours are abuzz that Pankhuri Awasthy will join the cast to play a pivotal role. It was reported earlier that Mohena Kumari has quit the series.

A source told PinkVilla, “Pankhuri’s character will enter the show post leap. The show will be taking a leap starting 10th of June post which Naira will be shown a single mother. Before that, it will be shown that Naira’s car meets with an accident and while everyone assumes her to be dead post that, she survives the accident and reportedly lose her memory again.”

It seems the generation leap will no doubt create a lot of changes in the show with a number of new storylines being introduced.
