Playing the protagonist in��Vishal Bhardwaj’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’,��Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen in what looks to be the role of a lifetime.
‘Haider’ sees Kapoor in a very rugged attire and judging from the trailers he has managed to entice his audiences already. One big name included in his audience is father Pankaj Kapur, who is gleaming with pride at his son’s progression within the industry. “I am happy to see my son doing well. ‘Haider’��is certainly a special film and coming from Vishal Bhardwaj makes it all the more special. I am extremely happy to see Shahid’s work in ‘Haider’,”��NDTV reported the veteran actor stating.
In fact both father and son have managed to excite viewers with their separate films, as Kapur makes a predominant appearance in the trailers of Homi��Adajania’s ‘Finding Fanny’. One of the main aspects of this film is that it’s all played out in English. Talking about this film, Kapur went onto say, “When Homi came to me with the script I instantly said yes to the film. It’s a very unusual film, which I have not done before.”
‘Haider’ which will also star Shraddha Kapoor is set to hit the big screens on October 2, whereas ‘Finding Fanny’ starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah will be releasing on September 12.
