Pankaj Kapur on Mira Kapoor’s debut: “Why would I have any objections?”

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira are very private people, not ones to share their personal life, and dad Pankaj Kapur is not one to interfere either. It’s rumored that Mira could be making a Bollywood debut soon,��and Kapur says that she is his daughter and he would not have any objections to her Bollywood debut.

Kapur told IANS, “It is her life. She can do what she wants to do. Why should I have anything to do with that? It is between her and her husband. She is a child to me. Why would I have any objections? For me, she can do what she wants to do and I am there to support. My children can do what they want to do. When it comes to this whole category of daughter-in-law, I get a little uncomfortable as I treat her like my daughter.”

Kapur was last seen with Shahid in Vikas Bahls’ ‘Shaandaar’ (2015).
