Panjab TV unveils logo ahead of Sky launch
Panjab TV has revealed its channel ident, ahead of its launch on Sky this week.
During its test transmission on the Sky EPG, the channel’s ident features a design similar to its radio counterpart, Panjab Radio, incorporating an orange flag that animates into a satellite dish beaming a signal—mirroring the branding seen on Panjab Radio.
As reported by BizAsiaLive.com, Panjab TV aims to complement its radio service by offering programming tailored to the Punjabi-speaking community in the UK. The channel will feature a mix of religious and cultural shows, along with content imported from Punjabi channels in India. Additionally, Panjab TV will introduce locally-produced shows recorded at its Hayes studios, specifically catering to the UK’s Asian audience.
