Panjab Radio set to launch Panjab TV on Sky in UK
The UK’s longest-running digital Punjabi radio service, Panjab Radio, is set to expand into television with the launch of Panjab TV.
The new channel aims to fill the gap left by BritAsia TV, which recently ceased broadcasting on Sky. Reports suggest that BritAsia TV sold its EPG slot to Panjab Radio.
According to BizAsiaLive.com, preparations are underway to finalise the content lineup for Panjab TV. The channel will feature a blend of imported programmes from India as well as locally produced shows from Panjab Radio’s newly established TV studios in Hayes.
