Panicky YRF issue statement on Rani ‘Chopra’ gaffe

During the star-studded event of the Yash Chopra statue unveiling�� that took place yesterday afternoon,��during which Shatrughan Sinha was heard��referring to��Rani Mukerji with the ‘Chopra’ surname, Yash Raj Films issued an emergency statement.

In what can only be described as a very panicky action, the production house’s PR department must have gone on overdrive. The statement read, “While paying his respects to the memory of Mr Yash Chopra��during the unveiling of the statue, he (Shatrughan Sinha) inadvertently made a comment which was completely unintended and a slip of the tongue. We should request you to treat it as such. There is nothing more to it”.

Mukerji is rumoured to be dating the late Chopra’s eldest son, Aditya. However, this blunder by Sinha seems to put nothing short of a spanner in the works because neither one of the alleged couple have openly admitted to their relationship. One wonders whether this obvious��unease about the slip of the tongue could suggest that there really is��more to the��comment than meets the eye.
