Pamela Chopra does not approve of current YRF productions
Pamela Chopra, wife of legendaryfilmmaker Yash Chopra, recently confessed that she does not like the films currently being made under her home production, Yash Raj Films.
“I don’t like them… I ask my son, ‘Is this from Yash Raj?’,” Chopra said, when asked about YRF films, in an interview withRediff.
Chopra went on to add that she especially does not like the titles of films such as ‘Lafangey Parindey’ (2010), ‘Kill Dil’ (2014) and ‘Badmaash Company’ (2010). ”These are not Yash Raj Film titles at all. My sons say, ‘You don’t know, mom. When you see the film, you will realise it is appropriate’… I can’t get over these titles.”
After the sad demise of Yash Chopra, the production house is being head by his eldest son, filmmaker Aditya Chopra. Uday Chopra, on the other hand, is handling YRF’s Hollywood ventures under the subsidiary banner, YRF Entertainment.
