Pallavi Sharda all set for production?

After doing small roles in many films, Australia-born Pallavi Sharda made her big Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Besharam’ (2013). The actress is now also considering taking up production.

Sharda told Deccan Chronicle, “I’m really interested in creating and producing content typically around cross-cultural subjects. Look at ‘Lion’ and the way it’s been appreciated; it got recognised on a global platform… There’s something that I’m working on in Australia. There’s actually a lot going on. My plate is full this year with work, but I’m also working with my writers. Probably I will venture into production by next year.”

On the acting front, she will next be seen in ‘Begum Jaan’. Also starring Vidya Balan and Gauahar Khan, the film releases this coming Friday.
