BOL, which is being branded as the “largest media infrastructure” in Pakistan is set for launch.

BOL is a complete media enterprise consisting of platforms including television channels providing services in entertainment, news and sport, digital media (web, social media and media apps), print media (newspaper and magazines) and cinemas, theatre and radio. With a massive launch and a clear social development objective, BOL is all set to bring a revolution in Pakistan�۪s media industry.

Since the news emerged a few days ago, the curiosity surrounding BOL has been like no other in Pakistan. BOL is set to change the media and entertainment sphere in a big way.

BOL is the brainchild of Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh. He founded IT company Axact at a time when Pakistan was still waking up to the potential of the IT industry. His foresight and vision were rewarded in the company�۪s meticulous rise through the country�۪s corporate sector. Today, Axact is three times larger than any private sector company in Pakistan.

The mission statement of BOL reads, “At BOL, we work to be the number 1 with more than 50% of the revenues and profits of every global media market we enter and at the same time deploy our core competencies towards the socio-economic development. This is our mission and every thing we do reflects this only this and nothing else.”
